Micaela Perez

 
 

Michaela Perez is running in for a seat on the Oxnard City Council in California.

Perez is a longtime community advocate and activist and holds an MA in Public Health. She would be the first openly LGBTQ woman to serve on the city council in Oxnard, the largest city in Ventura County.

Perez ran for this seat in a special election in 2023 and came up short by only 67 votes.
