Billie Butler

Billie Butler is a Democrat running for New Hampshire House of Representatives, NH (Strafford-12).

Billie Butler is a performing artist and gig worker who grew up in NH, mostly between Milton and Portsmouth. They have been a resident and home owner in Somersworth for 5 years and in that time has been a poll worker for three elections, most recently being appointed by the city council as a selectman. She is running for state representative in district 12 because small independent businesses, such as working class (1099) artists like her are wholly underrepresented. They have a deep connection to New Hampshire and decades of experience in collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving. She is ready to fight for affordable housing, livable wages, quality education for all, gig workers, LGBTQ rights, protecting our environment, and will ensure our government is transparent and accountable.
